From the East
Our second fund raiser went very well serving over 80 meals. I want to thank all those that helped with this. A big thanks to my son, Matthew who was out back cooking the chicken on the grill. Thanks to John Amato for getting the chicken donated and cutting the grass that morning. And I cannot forget Arlene Nelson, Dorothy Long, Steve Plotz and my wife, Cathy who donated the desserts.
The first workday in July had only 4 attendees, but we did get some things accomplished. Thanks to Larry Hundley and Mark Foltarz along with my wife and myself.
Wardens workshop time is here and we will be attending that to help the upcoming officers in their work and training. This will be on August 15th at the Masonic Home.

TO SMOKE OR NOT TO SMOKE
After no smoking signs were posted there has been some discussion about this. So to have a clear voice of all brothers, we are going to bring the issue to a vote at the stated meeting on August 11th. Please come and voice your opinion.

I hope that this article finds you and your family well. We are quickly through half a year, seems like only yesterday I was a sub-Junior Deacon. How time flies! Grand Lodge was a great learning experience for me. Your representatives voted the way that the lodge had decided they wanted to see us vote. There are no real major changes from Grand Lodge. For those of you that are interested the DDGM is Woody Newcomb from Palma Ceia Lodge and traveling with him are Worshipful Stephen Edson, and Brother Sean Fontaine. It is nice to have Fellowship Lodge so well represented. A few of our newly raised Brothers have been attending lodge meetings and we hope they will continue to attend meetings and hopefully practices too. My Brothers as this year comes to its second half I hope that those of you that are able to come attend a meeting, and see all the new faces in the different chairs, and become acquainted with the new Brothers, and allow them to meet you as well. This lodge has a lot of great things in store for its future, but it would be great to have some of the Brothers meet the MEN that have worked hard to bring this lodge to where it is now and then have you enjoy where it will be in the near future. Also if you haven’t emailed me please do so that I can add you to our normal communication. Fraternally,
Junior Torres JW
