Dear Brethren:
Thank you so much for your support on our Fund raiser. We have almost reached our goal for this year thanks to you. So many of you turned out and helped. For all who were unable to attend, we greatly appreciate all the donations that were sent in. Thank you ladies for all the wonderful desserts you bring.
In July we went with a dozen of our brothers to visit Hillsboro Lodge. We had a great dinner and fellowship. There were five (5) brothers who received their Fellowcraft Degree. We will be visiting another lodge on September 17th and October 15th . Meet at the lodge by 6:00pm and the visited Lodge will serve dinner at 6:30pm.
On August 20th we had two (2) new Entered Apprentices, Brother Samson Cooper and Brother Paul Cooper (Brother David Cooper's brothers).
"MASTER MASON DEGREE" will be on October 1st. Come out and join us for fellowship. Dinner at 6: 30, degree at 7:30.
Our last fund raiser will be October 27th, 11:30am until 2:00 PM which will be a Fish Fry with Cole slaw, hush puppies, grits, baked beans, potatoes and drink. A donation of Adults $7.00 and children 10 and under $4.00 would be appreciated. Brothers & Sisters as you know by now our Master was out riding his motorcycle around midnight and someone turned in front of him. He hit the vehicle and the driver of the vehicle ran from the scene. Gary is presently in Tampa General Hospital in intensive care, no visitors are allowed except for immediate family and they are keeping us well informed of his progress. At present the cranial pressure monitor has been removed and he is breathing on his own, all IV’s have been removed and he is recognizing people and talking to them. He is still in ICU so lets keep him and his family in our prayers.
Yours In Fellowship,
William G. Stuart SW Acting Master

From The Secretary’s Desk
First we all need to keep our Worshipful master and his family in our prayers as he recovers from a terrible motorcycle accident. We have set up an information message at the Lodge using the lodge phone number for those wanting to know the status of Gary. It will be updated at least once or twice weekly till he is able to take calls and messages for himself.
Brethren as you all know since your initiation into the Lodge that the dues maintain the Lodge. The monies the Master has to operate with are based on the membership and that all members pay their dues. Not paying your dues takes that money out of the budget. Each master plans his year based on the dues paying membership to determine the money he will have to operate the lodge for his year as master.
So brother, if you have not paid your dues. Please pay before you are suspended
We are way behind our raising of funds for the Children’s Home Christmas party due to lack of support for the 3rd Saturday breakfasts.
Fraternally,
Stephen D. Edson P.M., Sec.
