From The WEST

Well time is flying by, children out of school. We are still looking for old and new members, so if you haven’t to lodge lately we are here for you. If you have a dues card you’re welcome to your lodge. Any one of the brothers will let you in and help you with what you need

In Fellowship,

William G. Stuart SW

From The SOUTH

Brothers, I want to extend a big thanks to all the appendant organizations for their support at all of our events. If it were not for their support we would not have successful events. It is a shame that our support has to come outside the lodge brothers. Remember your obligation brothers.

Fraternally,

Chuck Hamm JW

From The Lodge Instructor

AN IMPORTANT REQUEST!

Brethren:

In assuming the responsibilities of Instructor about 10 years ago, I have found it increasingly difficult to assemble enough members together at any one time in hopes of producing a reasonable facsimele of a well defined DEGREE TEAM. Of the faithful that do show up for weekly practice sessions, most find themselves doing more than one part, which just will not work come degree night. I usually find myself searching about. that night for “FILL-IN BODIES” from the gallery. I will not dwell on the circumstances causing this situation, as you’ve heard the reasons why many times over.

It is my desire to form a well practiced and knowledgeable Degree Team for all three degrees. One for the E.A., one for the F.C. and a combination of those for the M.M.. I would prefer members of Fellowship Lodge to fill the required positions. Requirements would be your ability to attend regular Thursday night practice sessions, most every time. Actual Degree work will be the only theme, as opening and closing will be handled by the current officers. You will be given one position to learn and do well. As some are more involved, we ca pick and choose a spot that you feel more comfortable and best suit you abilities. The practice sessions are the means to be taught new, re-learn what you “used to know” and conform that into today’s floor work.

I know we have brothers living within driving distance to the Lodge being more or less retired from a 40hr.work week that can contribute a couple of hours a week for practice. My concern is WILL YOU!!

THERE IT IS. You have it. My one time only request for help. I WANT YOU

Without it, I’m afraid under current circumstances, it may become necessary to have another lodge provide us courtesy degree work in the near future. Please contact the Secretary or the worshipful master if you feel the desire to contribute in this matter.

H. Larry Powell

From The Secretary’s Desk

Delinquent dues notices went out to those that have not paid their dues yet.

Congratulations go out to Douglas Fusco who got a Grand Lodge appointment this year. Doug will be the Public Education and citizenship committee chairman for our district.

Fraternally,

Stephen D. Edson P.M., Sec.
