Dear Brethren:

Serving your Country and your Lodge

Dianna Jones, the Hillsborough County Pollworker Coordinator recently spoke

at Fellowship Lodge. She was looking for honest and reliable workers to help

at the polls. Poll workers go through a 1 day class of the do's and don'ts

and are then "certified". Then on election day you report to your assigned

location at 6:00 am and remain there until about 8:00 pm. You are paid

$80.00 for the day. You get breaks and a "lunch hour" but Election Laws

require you to stay on the premises while the polls are open.

The details are: Training classes will be held at Fellowship Lodge on March

12th and April 9th at 10:00 am and at Elections Service Center, Hillsborough

County Warehouse, 2514 North Faulkenburg Road, Tampa at 10:00 am, phone

744-5900 or contact Diana Jones at 744-5855. If you want to donate your

earnings to the Lodge, we will gladly accept it.

Well here we are in the month of March and we are looking forward to seeing many of you at the Easter egg hunt at Al Lopez park on the 24^th. If there is anything I can do to better the Lodge please let me know. Let us know if you need a ride to Lodge and if anyone needs help with something, I will be more than happy to offer my services to help.

Third Saturday breakfast The 16^th of March and April 20^th 8 AM to 10AM. Come and enjoy your Brothers & sisters company. Stay after and enjoy our new Pool table, and

board games complements of Worshipful Master Gary Payne. We need your support. It would be nice to see some new faces at the Lodge for breakfast, and upcoming Lodge activities. Again I would like to thank the ladies for their support. Now if we could get lodge members to attend we would have a great time, getting reacquainted with some of the older members.

Brothers if you desire a Masonic service when you die please let the lodge know so we can have that information on file and for heaven’s sake make sure your family knows that you are requesting such. Also we would like to update our files on all of our surviving members and their families, such as present address, phone number, birth city & state, e-mail address ( if you have one), and wife or significant other ( in case of needing to contact someone).

For those of you wanting to know just what is a Perpetual Membership. A Perpetual Membership is 20 times a members annual dues put into a fund from which the Lodge gets the interest of that account paid on an annual basis, which is equal to or greater than the members annual dues so that member no longer pays dues annually. In the case of a 50 Year dues exempt member his Perpetual Membership is only $200.00. To start a Perpetual Membership you can submit $200.00 to the lodge with a Perpetual Membership application and have the balance billed to you over the next 2 years on a monthly basis.
